Tezi’s latest release brings a fresh Knowledge Base, smarter sourcing filters, AI-assisted emails, and new Lever ATS integration — all designed to make hiring faster, clearer, and more intuitive than ever.
📖 Tezi's new knowledge base is live
Our brand-new knowledge base is live at help.tezi.ai. It covers all major features and makes it easier to find answers, learn best practices, and explore new functionality — all in one place.
🚫 Structured filters now have negation support
You can now exclude tokens in your structured filters! On any given token field, choose whether to include or exclude values from your search – making it easier to narrow results to exactly what you need.

💌 New workflow for escalated candidate emails
We’ve added a new component to the candidate activity page to make handling escalated candidate emails more straightforward. Escalated emails now appear pinned at the top of the page, so they’re impossible to miss. Job Owners can choose to ignore them or reply, with Max guiding the process: first by surfacing key questions for input, then by drafting a response for review and edits. Job Owners can also save relevant details directly into the role context, ensuring key information carries forward.

🗨️ Emails & chat screen transcripts sync better with Ashby
Candidate communication in Ashby is now more transparent and better organized. Replies show only the most recent message, making email threads easier to parse. Candidate attachments are automatically synced into Ashby, ensuring essential files are never lost. Additionally, Max now generates a PDF transcript of its screening chats and adds it to the status log, alongside the recommendation, providing a comprehensive record in one place.

📊 Filter the pipeline by source or status
You can now filter your Pipeline not just by status, but also by source — sourced, referred, or applied. This makes it easier to track where candidates are coming from and focus your efforts where they matter most.

📝 "Draft" state before going live with a new role
All new or ATS-synced roles will now start in a “Draft” state, providing you with time to complete the setup before any automation begins. A "Draft" or "Live" badge is visible in Role Settings. When you’re ready to launch the role, click “Go live”.

🐦 Structured filters can now be nested
In addition to filtering candidates based on simple filters, such as location or job titles, you can now compound those filters by nesting. Filters like "Previously worked at [list of companies] for 4-10 years" or "Presently works in an early stage company and has been in role for more than 2 years" are now possible.

😄 Tezi now integrates with Lever ATS
In addition to Greenhouse and Ashby, Tezi now syncs bi-directionally with Lever ATS. Only a handful of companies still use Lever, but we're proud to support them while they do.
✉️ Introducing AI-assisted email replies
For new roles, Max now acts as your co-pilot for inbound candidate emails. Instead of fully automating responses, Max drafts thoughtful replies for you to review, edit, or approve — and suggests next steps. Once you’re confident in its work, turn on Agentic Reply to let Max handle 95% of emails automatically, only escalating the tricky ones. Learn more here. (If you'd like to try out this feature on a pre-existing role, you can turn off Agentic Reply in the Role Settings.)

➖ New dense, table view for the pipeline
Prefer speed over visuals? You can now switch your Pipeline from the kanban board to a compact list view — perfect for quickly working through decisions, escalations, or replies in sequence.

🔍 Find candidates by VC firm, stage, or amount raised
New filters give you sharper control when sourcing: find candidates who worked at companies with specific investors, that raised a set amount, were founded before or after a given date, or were at a certain stage (like Series C) during their tenure.

🔍 See all the candidates that meet your criteria up front
Max will now show you all candidates who match your search criteria for a given role, allowing you to quickly review profiles and decide who you want to move forward with for Scheduled Outreach.

🙈 Remove candidates you don’t want to contact
From the new sourcing list, you can remove anyone you don’t want to reach out to – without it affecting your upcoming Scheduled Outreach. This helps keep your list focused on the candidates that matter most.

➡️ Control if candidates are automatically advanced or not
Once you’re confident in the quality of your sourcing list, you can enable Auto Advance to move candidates into Scheduled Outreach automatically. It works just like Scheduled Outreach does today—but now, you have full control over when Max's automation kicks in.

🎛️ Automatically contact the candidates you’ve selected
Once you move a candidate to Scheduled Outreach, Max will add them to your role’s latest email sequence and schedule the outreach based on your outreach volume settings. If you'd like to learn more about this major release, see the Help Center article.
