Tezi’s newest update makes Max smarter than ever — it now understands nuanced candidate traits, turns plain language into precise filters, and gives you fine-grained control over how sourcing criteria apply.
Intelligent AI reasoning about candidate fit
Max now reasons more like a recruiter. It can now assess profiles for more nuanced traits—like implied skills and fast promotion patterns—without relying solely on strictly filterable requirements. This means better alignment with your true criteria, even when they’re hard to articulate. Learn more about best practices for using AI Evaluation Criteria.
Turn natural language into smart, structured filters
Describe what you want—like “5+ years of B2B SaaS experience in the Bay”—and Max auto-translates it into structured filters. It’s fast, intuitive, and editable so that you can articulate yourself easily, but fine-tune the translation as specifically as you need.

New control for sourced vs. inbound criteria
You can now choose whether calibration criteria apply to both inbound and sourced candidates—or just sourced. This is especially useful when targeting specific companies, without filtering out strong inbound applicants. The toggle lives in each row of the calibration criteria for quick, precise control.
